Thank you for your comments about National Drunk Writing Night. There's this misconception out there that alcohol or drugs opens up creativity, but in fact, it clouds the mind. I want to be fully aware when I do something stupid so I don't do it again, and likewise, I'd like to be aware when I do something brilliant.

Here's to staying sober and creative.

Good essay on NaDruWriNi, and on the topic at large. I've never been drunk, nor do I intend to get drunk, and if being drunk clouds your mind, how could it possibly help in the writing?
